CDE Leads the Industry through Impact Reporting
For example, White Oak Pastures is a regenerative farm located in Bluffton, GA that produces a variety of meat products using a carbon negative process. AMCREF's NMTC investment helped White Oak Pastures upgrade its freezer storage to accommodate a market shift from wholesale distribution to direct-to-consumer retail sales. LifeCity was able to validate the carbon emissions saved from this development as well as the social impact data this investment created through job retention and growth.
CDEs must validate their impacts through third-party resources to the CDFI Fund. In addition to having a clear impact strategy, every CDE must also prove the impact that they have in the communities they’ve served through NMTC investments.
