Local Boutique Hotel Aligns Intentions With Actions
The leaders of Hotel Peter and Paul seek to run a responsible business that achieves high standards as a hotel, while supporting workforce development and environmental outcomes. The day to day needs of running a hotel made it difficult to research and implement sustainability and workforce solutions.
By becoming an Advanced member of LifeCity's Love Your City initiative, the LifeCity consulting team was able to support Hotel Peter & Paul in meeting monthly to address these priorities, troubleshoot solutions, and gain connections to service providers that would help them succeed.
As a result, the hotel was able divert 50% of their waste, provide special programming to support staff in home-buying, savings, and training opportunities, and implement many projects that reduce energy onsite. Most importantly, hotel leadership was able to truly spend time aligning their intentions with action.
