Keep Louisiana Beautiful is interested in helping their affiliate partners galavanize partnerships to support businesses in implementing sustainable practices, starting with litter reduction and waste prevention.
LifeCity provided a fun and inspiring workshop across three regions in Louisiana that helped attendees understand sustainability from a big picture perspective while implementing practical solutions immediately. Participants engaged in several activities that allowed them to create systemic changes within their organization(s).
Some stories from the workshops included the following results:
ExxonMobil was interested in partnering with PodPack International to test advanced recycling on their products
The two city governments are interested in sharing best practices for community gardens as increasing composting is of high interest to local governments.
Local libraries are interested in partnering to share tools in neighborhoods to improve access and reduce waste (spoke to Blue Cross about what a partnership could look like).
