Are you interested in supporting sustainable communities? LifeCity is seeking an organized individual who can support our CEO in executing events, projects, and client-deliverables that drive sustainable change.

Executive Assistant, Sustainability 

PURPOSE

LifeCity is seeking an organized professional to support LifeCity’s CEO with event management, sustainability initiatives, and client tasks. You will work closely with the LifeCity CEO and the Managing Consultant, Sustainability, as needed.

LOCATION & PAY

This position is hybrid, with the majority of hours spent in our New Orleans office each week. You may be asked to attend events in Louisiana.

This is a part-time position that will pay $18/hour, 15 -20 hours a week. 

Benefits include 100% of health insurance, vision/dental insurance. A Four-day work week, and more.

The position will begin as soon as we find the right candidate.

Areas of Responsibility

  • Support and coordinate events under LifeCity’s non-profit initiative, Love Your City

  • Coordinate meetings and create agendas, take notes as able

  • Create simple deliverables for events and other projects

  • Social Media support and coordination

  • Intern hiring support and onboarding/off-boarding

  • Internal impact/sustainability reporting coordination

  • Sustainability research as needed

  • Other support as needed

  • Independent learner: This position will require someone willing to conduct research and being willing to ask questions as they arise.

  • Organized: This position requires strong organizational skills to ensure that all deliverables are finalized on time, with good time management..

  • Friendly: Ideally, we need someone who loves to talk to people as some of the tasks require interacting with our partners.

  • Detail Oriented: This position requires significant attention to detail.

  • Communication: This position requires communication to help ensure that deliverables are met on time and that support is provided where needed.

IDeal Skills

  • Strong communication skills: verbal and written.

  • Administrative and/or management experience: supporting projects and leadership, managing individuals.

  • Sustainability Content Knowledge: studies or experience in Sustainability.
