Learn how to support equitable outcomes in NMTC transactions

September 16 , 202012 - 2:00 p.m.

Following banks’ historic retreat from serving low-income communities prior to the 1990s, the CDFI was created to support financial institutions in creating more equitable access to capital in economically distressed areas. The NMTC program, created just a few decades ago, has been a tremendous tool for incentivizing investment in underserved communities—but has this capital been distributed equally? Join us to explore ways for CDEs, investors, and other actors to examine NMTC transactions through an equity lens and use practical tools to ensure that these investments are reaching all low-income families in the communities they serve.
