Efficiency FirstEfficiency First is the national association for the home performance industry. From the halls of Washington, DC, to your own backyard, Efficiency First members are working together to grow the home performance industry into a sustainable, profitable market segment. From education and networking opportunities, to advocacy at the national and grassroots level, Efficiency First exists to help home performance companies succeed.

At the Gulf Coast Region Chapter we know that efficiency is only one part of the sustainability market. We know that by working together with all types of sustainable entities, we can help build the Southeast into a progressive beacon of quality, health, and environmental stability. We hope you will come out and lend your voice to the conversation.

This is the first chapter of Efficiency First in our region, a national nonprofit trade association that unites the Home Performance workforce, building product manufacturers and related businesses and organizations in the escalating fight against global warming and rising energy costs.

Recently, the Quick Start Energy Efficiency Program was passed through City Council. In this meeting, we will be discussing Phase I of the plan for homeowners and small business owners, and the objectives of the Energy Efficiency Quick Star Process. Soon, utility companies will have put in place a program that is cost effective, provides energy savings, reduce emissions (including CO2), and increase utility energy efficiency capabilities and infrastructure.Come out, become a member, and help fight the good fight!
