Non-CFC Refrigerants

Non-CFC refrigerants do not damage the ozone layer and do not contribute to global warming. CFC refrigerants are chemicals used in AC units and refrigerators that cause significant damage to the earth’s ozone layer. Because of these deleterious effects on the earth’s atmosphere, CFCs have been subjected to strict government regulation and have been phased out entirely in many industrialized nations
