Hollygrove Farmer’s Market Every Saturday and Sunday, 10 am -2pm Every Tuesday, 12 pm Living with Water: Waggonner & Ball’s Water Planning and Advocacy Efforts AIA New Orleans’ Center for Design on Lee Circle. The exhibition is free and open to the public until October 1st. PAINT & E-WASTE DROP OFF: 1st & 3rd Saturdays Drop off your old paint and electronic waste (computers only) to the Arabella Station Whole Foods Market from 10am to 2pm on the first Saturday of every month. The Green Project's tent will be at the corner of Magazine & Joseph Streets in good weather, and inside near the massage table in bad weather. Third Saturday of the Month- Hollygrove Market Drop off your old paint and electronic waste (computers only) to the Hollygrove Market & Farm from 10am to 2pm on the third Saturday of every month. Pick up a $25 box filled with locally-grown, fresh produce while you are there! NOLA Green Roots Planting Workshop September 10th, 12th, 17th, and 24th 8:30am-9:30am Green Drinks – Zero Waste, Zero Flooding: Fundraiser for Plaquemines Parish Thursday, September 13th 5-7pm, New Orleans Healing Center NOLA Green Roots Composting Class Thursday, September 13th 6-7pm Film Feast with the Southern Food and Beverage Museum Saturday, September 15th 7 – 10 pm, Roots on the Rooftop at Rouses BIG NIGHT at Rouses Market: Dinner and a movie! Italian dinner of salumi and fresh pasta at 7 pm, then popcorn and Stanley Tucci’s film BIG NIGHT at 8 pm. Monthly Sustainability Series: Water Management Strategies – Energy, Waste, and Water Thursday, September 20th 5:30 – 7:30 pm, Green Building Resource Center, 841 Carondelet Street Global Green will present a panel from Waggonner and Ball, GNO, Inc, and Thomas Strategies, LLC to present and discuss the design community’s response to the planning, ecological, and economic situation of coastal Louisiana. Organic refreshments and networking at 5:30pm, then the panel discussion at 6 pm.
